My healing journey started with therapy in an alternative clinical setting along with a few other professionals that really helped me make sense of what I was feeling and what I had experienced. The thing is...
"...even though I was mentally and emotionally healing I still felt like something was missing."
I was feeling lighter, I was sleeping better...I was glowing. As time went by there was still a part of me that felt uncomfortable and lacked direction. A voice within me that kept asking me to dive deeper into my healing because I was far from done.
"My soul craved peace and resolution."
I began to realize that the only way I would be able to access that level of healing was by connecting to my higher-self. I had to practice silence to learn the art of listening, and had to practice speaking to learn the art of releasing.
"At this point I was determined to discover who I was, and what my purpose was on this earth."
I made my spirituality a part of my daily practice, it was then where I really started to feel like I was able to access my inner child, past life cycles of pain, and even heal family history of trauma cycles for generations to come.

During the integration process you not only forgive those past versions of yourself, but you also come to understand and accept your journey. To me, integrating spirituality into my healing process was like having someone remove the blindfold off my face...
"I had never seen my life with so much clarity."
This clarity gave me a sense of direction. I finally saw my journey for what it was... the road to my soul's purpose. More importantly I realized I was far from alone as I had all of the divine guidance and protection that I needed to move forward and make decisions in my life with confidence.

"I soon realized that I wasn't going to be able to heal on my own."
I had to be realistic with myself, so often I would say I'll just do it differently tomorrow and procrastinate on the changes I needed to make until I realized that I needed a support system.
My truth came back in pieces like flashes of a memory. It is in the process of remembering that you begin to finally feel aligned to your purpose and divine source. Everything finally makes sense, and for the first time in probably a long time your soul finally begins to feel at peace.
